He was not saying much and just kind of cocked his head to the side and gave me a puzzled look.
He then very quietly asked if I was still on the phone.

I had been on the cell phone with my mom, and apparently when I began talking to Jon and Justin I put it up to my ear like I was still on the cell.
Yeah, one of 'those' moments.

Well, I was gonna laugh anyway at your story, but then that picture of the ape just sent me into real giggles. The expression is, I am sure, exactly how you felt. hahaha
