Makin' a Mess

The kids have been begging to make and decorate Christmas Cookies. (Jon too)

I admit I have been a grinch about it,cause as good as they taste, they make a HUMONGO mess on me, them, and everything else in the kitchen.

Today ( Thursday) I gave in. We made the dough this morning, cleaned the mess, and then I let the kids do all the rolling, cutting, and , the cleaning up :)oh joy!!

Shelbys last words to me were "mom, please dont EVER make me do that again!"

ME.."What, decorate cookies??"

Shelby.." No, decorate with the BOYS!! I was taking my time, doing everything I could to make them really pretty, and they boys just want to see how much frosting and sprinkles they can get to stick to each cookie!!"
