What a blessing it is that my children will grow up and be able to say,yea, I have a goodly heritage. They love the Lord, desire to serve HIM in all they do. That is the product of their heritage. They have a father who loves and serves the Lord, does everything "as unto the Lord" and does it with all he has. My dear husband gets his heritage from his father,a preacher, missionary, evangelist, who taught him, and he got it from his father, another preacher... and so it goes on.
Thank you ,Jon, for allowing the Lord to use you to teach your children.For being the best earthly father they could ever have.
Thank you, Pappaw, for raising Jon the way you did, instilling in him a love for the Lord, and the desire to always do his best whether as a father, husband, son.

Great post, it made me think of my own family. My Dad has been a Christian for a long time. His Dad (my grandfather) is a preacher and my grandfather's grandfather was also a preacher too.
