Soccer

Today the kids had their first soccer game. They are playing with upwards, which is a christian organization, so we don't have to worry as much about bad language and bad attitudes. They have never played before, and they were sort of worried that they would not do well. We also thought, until last week, that Shelby would be on an all girls team. Much to our surprise, she is on her brothers team. She was so worried that she wouldn't know any one, and that she would be the only girl, but when we showed up for practice two of her friends from our old church just happened to be on her team!!She is thrilled. Today was their first scrimmage game.All the kids on their team except one, go to independent baptist churches in the area, and they know all of them, so it really was kind of neat. Our team lost, against a bunch of their friends on the other team, but all three of them had a blast! Here are some miscellaneous pictures of both teams!

This is our team. Nicole is out front with the ball, then we have "S", Cheyenne, Shelby, Justin,"D", and Jaren."S" is the only one we dont know well, but I am sure we will get to know her as time goes on.
